THIBODAUX, LA (WVUE) -

Police say a man tried to use power drill to force his way into a victim's car in Thibodaux.

Investigators say Charles Sagona Jr., 37, met the victim Wednesday (Oct.28) at a business and talked for some time. But, when the victim tried to leave, Sagona used his car to block the victim's vehicle.

Police say Sagona started banging on the window of the victim's car. When the victim refused to lower the window, they say Sagona tried to open the door by drilling the lock.

Thibodaux police arrived and arrested Sagona.

Officers booked him with false imprisonment and disturbing the peace.  Sagona is also facing domestic abuse battery charges from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office.
