NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

For the first time in 17 years, Voodoo Fest is canceled.

The third and final day of The Voodoo Music + Arts Festival has been canceled due to "Dangerous weather conditions."

According to festival organizers, the third day of Voodoo Fest is canceled due to persistent rain and flash flood warnings for Orleans Parish. "Fan safety is a top priority," a press release from Live Nation said. "Current conditions at City Park do not meet our standards for maintaining a safe experience."

Voodoo is a "no refund, rain or shine event," but refunds will be made available in this case. For three day holders one-third of the posted price at their time of purchase will be offered. For single-day tickets a full refund will be offered.

Fans should visit the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience website for further information.

Sundays line-up included DEADMAU5, Third Eye Blind, Zac Brown Band, Slightly Stoopid, Eric Prydz and The Cult.
