NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans Police are working to identify a man they say is wanted in connection with an Armed Robbery at a Boost Mobile.

Investigators say the man walked into the store on Saint Bernard Avenue around 1:00 p.m. Sunday. They say he ordered a 23-year-old female clerk to the floor and ordered her to lock herself in the bathroom.

Police say the man then took money from the till and several inactive cell phones before running from the store.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 6’0” tall, 40 to 50 years of age, having a medium to heavy build, and bald with a mustache.  Police say the suspect was armed with a rusty revolver.

The First District Investigative Unit is in charge of the investigation and can be reached at (504) 658-6010.

If you know who the man is, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
