(WVUE) - The New Orleans Saints running attack suffered a setback losing Khiry Robinson for the remainder of the season to a broken left tibia.
The injury happened in the second quarter of Sunday's 52-49 shootout win over the New York Giants.
Saints Head Coach Sean Payton announced Monday morning Robinson had surgery to repair the break.
On the season, Robinson had 56 carries for 180 yards and four touchdowns.
Robinson's injury leaves the Saints with Mark Ingram, C.J. Spiller and Marcus Murphy as options in the backfield.
