NOPD looks for Pauger Street attempted armed robbery suspect

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans police release a computer sketch of the man they are looking for in connection with an attempted armed robbery.

Investigators say the incident happened on Saturday in the 3000 block of Pauger Street.

Police say the two victims, two 25-year-old females, they were seated in a vehicle around 3:10 a.m. in front of a home in the area when an unknown black male approached the open front passenger’s side window. The victims said the suspect showed them a semi-automatic handgun and demanded their possessions. At that point, the victims said the driver placed the vehicle in reverse and drove away.

The victims described the suspect as a black male in his mid to late 20s, standing between 5’5’’-5’7”, with a thin build and light facial hair. The suspect was described as wearing a black or blue t-shirt with a graphic design and gray sweatpants.

Family members of the victims are concerned for the safety of the community, as are new members of the Clemency Board. CBS 5 Investigates videotaped Huff riding a bike through his Tucson neighborhood. There are no restrictions placed on his proximity to children.
