ST. TAMMANY PARISH, LA (WVUE) - Tammany Utilities will turn the water off Wednesday to developments that include Tuscany, Northpointe Commercial, Ashland Oaks, Seymour Meyers, and Tammany West Multiplex Faubourg Coquille Water System. Other customers in close proximity to the construction of the new Highway 1077/ Highway 1085 roundabout will also be impacted.
The water will be turned off at 10 p.m. on Wednesday and water service will be restored by 5 a.m. Thursday. The affected areas include all commercial and residential Tammany Utilities customers in the highlighted area.
Once water service is restored, out of an abundance of caution and in accordance with Department of Health and Hospital regulations, a precautionary Boil advisory will be in place for the impacted customers. The advisory will remain in effect until it is rescinded by Tammany Utilities.
Customers are urged to boil all water for at least a minute before using it to make ice, brush teeth, drink and prepare or rinse food.

Customers can expect an automated phone call, signs placed at the entrances to neighborhoods and subdivisions as well as notices on the Parish Government social media sites when the advisory is lifted.
