DES ALLEMANDS, LA (WVUE) - Lafourche Parish deputies arrest a Larose woman wanted on several contempt charges after a random traffic stop.
Deputies made the stop along U.S. Highway 90 in Des Allemands early Tuesday morning.
They say the driver, Angie Terrebonne, was wanted for four active contempt of court warrants.
After searching her car, deputies say they found two small plastic bags containing suspected methamphetamine, a small amount of Alprazolam (Xanax), and various drug paraphernalia, some of which is commonly used in the illegal sale of narcotics.
Deputies say the drugs belonged to a passenger in the car, identified as Ian McLuckie of Cut Off.
He was also arrested and booked with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of alprazolam and drug paraphernalia.
Terrebonne remains in jail on a $102,000 bond.
