Thursday morning the New Orleans area is waking up to more patches of dense fog that will burn off by about 9 a.m.
The area should see sunshine with a few clouds. Highs will touch the lower 80s today. Tonight, more late fog will form with lows in the lower 70s.
Friday will see more clouds and midday rains that will last through early Sunday.
The rains won't be constant as they were last weekend. There will be many dry periods as a slow-moving cool front will make its way through the area.
The area should finally get a little taste of fall starting Sunday.
