(WVUE) - The metro New Orleans area will see another unusually warm day Friday.
The high will be near the record for this day, topping out at 85 degrees this afternoon.
There is a slight chance for an afternoon shower, but the best rain chances will arrive on Saturday. During the day tomorrow almost all areas will receive rain, but those rains will not last all day.
By Sunday the cold front will have crossed the entire area with much cooler temperatures and breezy northeast winds.
A few showers could linger early Sunday but otherwise it will be dry.
