Kenner man among three arrested in child porn investigation

BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) - Attorney General James D. "Buddy" Caldwell today announced that his Cyber Crime Unit (CCU) has arrested three men this week on child pornography charges.

Turner Lann, 53, of 6146 Magnolia Woods, Shreveport, was arrested Thursday by CCU investigators and booked into the Caddo Parish Jail on 30 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles.
Agents executed a search warrant on Lann's residence where they say they found several digital media devices containing dozens of videos of child pornography.

The Attorney General's CCU was assisted by the Louisiana State Police, Bossier Marshal's Office and Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.

In a separate incident, Robert Guillory, 61, of 28 Vicksburg St., Zwolle, was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 3 and booked into the Sabine Parish Prison on 200 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles.  Investigators executed a search warrant on Guillory's residence where they reported they found hundreds of images of child pornography.

The arrest was a result of an investigation involving the Louisiana Attorney General's CCU, Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office and Louisiana State Police.

In another unrelated incident, CCU investigators Monday charged Brian C. Townsend, 43, of 4015 California Avenue, Kenner, with four counts of pornography involving juveniles.

Cyber crime agents began investigating Townsend in late July during an online undercover operation involving peer-to-peer file sharing.

Townsend, a gymnastics coach for several East Jefferson dance studios, was originally arrested on Oct. 29 by the Kenner Police Department on 13 counts of video voyeurism, as well as six counts of possessing and a single count of distributing child pornography.

Each count of pornography involving juveniles carries the possible sentence of 20 years in prison.
