NOPD: Suspect wanted for second degree battery in Algiers

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans police are looking for a man wanted for second degree battery following an incident in Algiers. Investigators say the incident took place Friday, November 6, in the 1900 block of Pace Boulevard.

Police say they learned around 7:50 p.m. a 27-year-old was involved in a physical altercation with a man, who was later identified at Donnie Crawford.

Investigators say during the fight, Crawford pulled a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times and ran from the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was recovering from the stab wounds. 

Detectives have an arrest warrant for Crawford, charging him with second degree battery.
