ST. TAMMANY PARISH, LA (WVUE) - State DOTD officials say the ramp from I-59 Southbound to I-10 East (exit 1B) will be closed Friday, November 13, at 10 p.m. until Monday, November 16 at 5 a.m. The closure is weather permitting.
DOTD also says to expect closures on the inside (left) and outside (right) lanes of I-10/I-12/I-59 on Friday through Monday. Workers will remove and replace the roadway at the following locations:
- I-59 Southbound outside lane between the I-10/I-59 split and just south of the I-59 Rest Area (Mile Post 1) from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
- I-59 Northbound outside lane between the I-10/I-59 split and just south of the I-59 Rest Area from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Monday.
- I-10 Eastbound between the French Branch Bridge (Mile Post 267.14, just north of Gause Blvd.) and the West Pearl River Bridge (near the I-10 Welcome Center) from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. Friday through Sunday. All lanes will be open between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. daily.
- I-10 Westbound between the West Pearl River Bridge and the French Branch Bridge from 6 p.m. to 11 a.m. Friday through Sunday. All lanes will be open between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily.
Motorists traveling I-59 Southbound to I-10 Eastbound will need to exit to US 190-B/ Fremaux Ave (Exit 265), East on US 190-B to I-10 East.
One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. No oversized loads greater than 12' wide will be allowed through the construction zone during lane closures.
