Tulane PD: Two Tulane students robbed at gunpoint in off-campus incident

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

A pair of Tulane students were the victim's of an armed robbery that occurred near the school's Uptown Campus. The incident took place Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at their house in the 800 block of Broadway Street,. 

Police say that one of the students was inside the house when two men ran inside, demanded drugs from the victim, then tied him up while they searched the house. The student's roommate then walked in and he too was asked for drugs prior to being tied up. The men ran from the house in an unknown direction. 

The first suspect is described as a white man in his late 20's. He is 6-foot-1 weighing around 160-170 pounds. He has a medium build, low-cut black hair, light scruffy beard and chest tattoos. He was wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans and was armed with a black and green gun equipped with a silencer. 

The second suspect is also described as a white man who is 6-foot-1, weighing around 160-170 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a turquoise shirt and a brown stocking over his head.
