Coroner identifies man killed early Saturday morning

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Orleans Parish Coroner releases the name of a man who was found shot several times lying next to a bicycle.

The coroner says 37-year-old Carlos Cain died after he was shot just after 2 a.m. on Saturday in the 3900 block of Hamilton St.

When officers arrived to the scene, they found the man unresponsive. He died on the scene. Detectives are investigating to determine a motive and to identify any suspects in this case.
