METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) -

Three men were shot in Metairie last night when they came under fire while driving on David Drive near West Napoleon Avenue.

However, we did recover several shell casings near the intersection of West Napoleon and David Drive.

Jefferson Parish investigators determined three black male victims, ages 20, 21 and 25 were traveling on David Drive near West Napoleon when they came under fire.

The victims provided no information on the suspect or suspects, or the make and model of the other vehicle involved.

After being shot in the arm, the driver sped away south in David Drive. His two passengers also sustained gunshot wounds to the arm.

When they reached intersection of David Drive and West Metairie, their vehicle struck a curb and had a blowout.

After continuing on David Drive the men left their vehicle and ran to a nearby fast food restaurant. There, they called a friend, who took them to Ochsner Medical Center.
