VIDEO: Police searching for gunman that robbed Tulane students

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police released surveillance video of a man they believe robbed Tulane students who were in an off-campus apartment.

Police say that one of the students was inside the house Sunday at 4:30 p.m. when two men ran inside, demanded drugs from the victim, and then tied him up while they searched the house in the 800 block of Broadway Street.

The student's roommate then walked in and he too was asked for drugs prior to being tied up. The men ran from the house in an unknown direction.

One of the perpetrators was captured on video surveillance walking into a nearby store.

The first man is described as a white man in his late 20's. He is 6-foot-1 weighing around 160-170 pounds. He has a medium build, low-cut black hair, light scruffy beard and chest tattoos. He was wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans and was armed with a black and green gun equipped with a silencer.

The second is also described as a white man who is 6-foot-1, weighing around 160-170 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a turquoise shirt and a brown stocking over his head.
