BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) - For the last five years, around this time is when the "fire Les" chants usually ramp up.
Like clockwork, right after LSU lost to Alabama, Tiger fans started murmuring Coach Les Miles needs to be ushered out the door because the public is ready for change.
Following back-to-back SEC loses to Alabama and Arkansas, some believe that Saturday's game at Ole Miss could determine the Miles' future in Baton Rouge.
The coach, who has been dealing with these type of reactions for years, plans to stay the course.
"I've always played the same style of football. To get back on track is a sincere feeling in this program. When you go two games, it's painful. I think it's imperative that the Tigers get back on track," Miles said during a teleconference. "I don't think there could be any more additional motivation that the motivation that I have."
The Tigers are 7-2 this season. The game against the Rebels is scheduled for Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
