Two Laplace men booked on child pornography charges

BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) -

Attorney General James D. "Buddy" Caldwell announced that his Cyber Crime Unit arrested two LaPlace men on child pornography charges.

Christopher Michael Davis, 38, of 109 Gail Drive, was arrested Tuesday on 30 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles. 

The arrest was a result of an investigation with the Louisiana Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office and the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office.

In an unrelated incident, Matthew Guillory, 27, of 1804 Madewood Road, was arrested on four counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles and two counts of video voyeurism.

The arrest was a result of an investigation with the Louisiana Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, Louisiana Probation and Parole, Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office and the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office. 

Davis and Guillory were booked into the St. John the Baptist Parish Jail on Tuesday. Each count of pornography involving juveniles carries a possible sentence of 20 years in prison.
