(WVUE) - A chilly Monday greets the metro New Orleans area.
Temperatures are near freezing for many parts of the Northshore this morning with upper 30s and 40s south of the Lake Pontchartrain.
Today will be sunny with temperatures rebounding into the mid and upper 50s this afternoon.
A gradual warming trend begins tomorrow with highs in the 60s.
By Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day we will see increasing east winds as well as more cloud cover. Highs will be in the lower 70s.
Rain chances are slim, but there could be a few showers by the weekend.
