Man shot to death in New Orleans east

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 48-year-old man in New Orleans east.

The man was found shot to death inside an apartment in the 14400 block of Peltier Drive. The identity of the victim is being withheld until family members can be notified.

Around 8 p.m., police responded to a call of a shooting, when investigators arrived, they found the man inside an apartment, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Detectives are currently looking for a motive and suspects.
