(WVUE) - A warming trend in the metro New Orleans area will continue today and into the holiday weekend. There will also be an increasing easterly breeze through Thursday.
A coastal flood advisory is in effect for tides two feet above normal.
There will be plenty of clouds today and Thursday with only a few sprinkles possible.
A little more sun and warmer yet on Friday and Saturday with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s expected.
The next rain chance won't develop until early next week or late Sunday at the earliest.
