Slidell grandmother carjacked in Eden Isles

SLIDELL, LA (WVUE) - St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's detectives are investigating a carjacking that occurred Tuesday night near Slidell, according to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office.

Around 8:45 p.m. a Slidell woman was waiting for her grandson outside a house in the 100 block of Pebble Beach Drive when she noticed a dark colored vehicle stop in front of the residence.

Police say a black man, described at 5'7" to 5'9", approximately 190 pounds and wearing a light-colored hoodie sweatshirt and dark pants, exited the passenger side of the vehicle and approach the victim's driver's side window.

The man pointed a gun at the woman and demanded she get out of the car. He then got into the woman's gray 2007 Lexus. (license plate YCX840) and drove off toward Eden Isles Boulevard.
