Bruce: Breezy and mild, warmer but dry Thanksgiving

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The warm-up has continued today and will get even warmer into the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. As east winds get stronger a coastal flood advisory has been issued for the eastern facing shores of East Orleans, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, Jefferson and Lafourche and Terrebonne Parishes.

Tides are expected to be about two feet above normal. Plenty of clouds today and tomorrow with only a few sprinkles possible.

A little more sun and warmer yet on Friday and Saturday with mid to upper 70s to near 80 expected. The next rain chance doesn't arrive until early next week or late Sunday at the earliest.
