BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) - LSU took the field Saturday night, looking to finish the regular season on a positive note and end a three-game losing streak. The Tigers did just that, picking up the 19-7 win over Texas A&M on senior night in Baton Rouge.
Leonard Fournette led the way for LSU (8-3) recording 32 carries for 159 yards and one touchdown. Fournette also set LSU's new single-season rushing record with 1,741 yards, topping the old mark of 1686 set by Charles Alexander in 1977.
Derrius Guice finished with 73 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.
Texas A&M (8-4) was led by quarterback Kyle Allen who completed 15-of-27 passes for 151 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
