NOPD: Man found shot in chest in French Quarter

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

An argument ended in gunshots in the French Quarter Saturday night.

According to NOPD, a 36-year-old man was shot in the chest  in the 600 block of Dumaine Street.

The incident started around 10:12 p.m. when police say the 36-year-old victim was fighting with his friend's roommate. According to NOPD, the roommate asked the 36-year-old to leave, but the 36-year-old man became irate and refused.

The roommate then pulled out a gun and shot the 36-year-old in the chest.
