It's been an awesome holiday weekend with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. It looks like the mild conditions will continue into the start of the week as the approaching cold front continues to creep south and east. All the warm moist air and our lack of wind is creating a fog threat. Some dense fog is once again likely Monday morning. Plan for some extra commute time and remember to keep low beams on during fog events even once the sun rises.
The fog should lift mid-morning and Monday once again looks to be a warm, muggy, spring-like day. Temperatures will start out in the 60s and climb to the upper 70s with a few spots getting close to 80. The cold front across the central part of the country finally begins to move a little more quickly. We should start to feel it's effects late Tuesday with some showers and a dramatic drop in temperatures.
