NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Rail repair work scheduled for this week on the I-10 Middle Pearl River Bridge has been pushed to a later date.
Drivers should now expect work Sunday Dec. 6 through Friday Dec.11, in the inside left lane of I-10 Westbound at Milepost 273 daily between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Crews will work on a concrete bridge rail damaged in a fatal accident earlier this month.
To avoid any traffic delays, drivers on I-10 west can take MS 607 (exit 2), head south on MS 607 to US 90, west on US 90 to US 190 to I-10 at Fremaux. One lane of traffic will be open at all times.
Please drive with caution and be mindful of work crews and their equipment.
