Filming will close French Quarter streets this week

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The city on Monday issued filming notices to residents in the French Quarter.

A production company will film exterior scenes on Charters Street at Wilkinson Row, closing the street from 7 p.m. until Tuesday at 5 a.m.

On Wednesday, Dec. 2, and Thursday, Dec. 3, a production company will film exterior scenes on the 900 to 1000 blocks of Royal Street and on the 600 to 700 blocks of St. Philip Street. As a result, the intersections of Royal Street and Ursulines Avenue and Bourbon and St. Philip Streets and Ursulines Avenue and Royal Street will close from 5 p.m. until 7 a.m. both days.

The New Orleans Fire Department and police will be on site ensure public safety and to help facilitate the work.
