A hotel lobby rarely inspires loyal followers willing to make a visit a not-to-miss annual tradition.
But, few hotel lobbies dress up for the holidays in quite the fashion of the Roosevelt in New Orleans.
"If you think you're having a bad day, just go down to the lobby and realize that's not the case," says Roosevelt director of catering Earl Lizana.
More than 60,000 lights drape the block-long lobby. You'll find trees decked in red, white and gold.
Each week until December 18, visitors will be entertained by caroling students from local schools.
The Roosevelt wonderland is lit around the clock until the beginning of 2016.
