(WVUE) - Some overnight cloud cover helped to moderate temperatures last night, but the sunshine will arrive today.
Despite the sun, a cool and crisp day is still expected as northerly winds continue in the wake of the cold front.
Highs will reach the mid to upper 50s around the area today with gradual warming as we head into the weekend.
Chilly nights are expected through the early weekend with lows in the 30s and 40s.
By Sunday, clouds will build and there will be a slim chance for an evening shower.
