HOUMA, LA (WVUE) -

Dueling parties in Houma turned violent after a man ran down the street naked during a football game, according to police.

Officers were called to the 2000 block of Ruby Drive around 10 p.m. on Nov. 28.

There were two gatherings happening at different residences, one for a wedding and the other for the LSU game against Texas A&M.

During the game, James Moore, Jr., 21, ran past the wedding party naked, according to police.

Afterwards, a confrontation took place between people from both functions. A brawl broke out and someone was knocked out.

Authorities believe Allen Taylor, Jr., 28, delivered the knockout blow when he punched someone at the LSU party in the face. While this was going on, people from both gatherings began fighting.

Police issued several summons for disturbing the peace by fighting. Moore was arrested for obscenity and taken to jail.

Taylor was arrested Thursday for second-degree battery. He was taken to jail and booked accordingly.
