NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - It's fantastic out there as we enjoy the holiday season. The Krewe of Jingle and all the holiday happenings downtown are experiencing beautiful crisp and clear conditions. The Algiers bonfire is on the perfect night as this afternoon's highs in the 60s will fall through the 50s. It will be just cool enough to keep you in the Christmas spirit, but warm enough that being outdoors is comfortable if you are dressed for it.
The rest of the weekend looks pretty good as well. Saints' tailgating should go along fine with warmer temperatures in the upper 60s. Clouds increase with an approaching upper level system from the west, but the main energy will stay to our north. We also are not seeing much moisture return.
