HOUMA, LA (WVUE) - A Houma man was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder after police say he fired shots at three men standing in front a home on Pitre Street.
Police say shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday three men said they received a threatening call from Trenton J. Dupree, 18, of Ethan Street. In the call Dupree said he was coming to collect money owed to him from a previous drug deal.
Authorities say when Dupree came to the area he fired several shots at the three men while hanging out the passenger window of a car. One shot hit a parked car in the area.
After he fired the shots, police say Dupree and an unknown driver left the area in a silver Dodge Stratus.
Dupree was arrested shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday night at his home on Ethan Street. He is charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder and taken to jail.
