(WVUE) - An earlier dense fog advisory is in effect for eastern Washington and St. Tammany parishes on the Northshore and Pearl River and Hancock County in Mississippi has been lifted.
The fog will give way to afternoon sunshine. Highs will be above average today in the low to mid 70s. Tonight, patchy fog is possible again as we cool to the upper 40s on the northshore and mid 50s on the south shore.
Other than fog, there is a clear weather path to the weekend. Look for breezy conditions to begin Saturday with rain moving in Sunday afternoon and evening.
Strong to severe storms will be possible, but for now they look to stay mostly to the north. By Monday, the rain will clear out for cooler, drier air to start the week.
