New Orleans police investigate two aggravated battery incidents

New Orleans police say they are investigating two aggravated battery incidents in the city that happened Wednesday night, according to initial reports.

The first incident happened around 9:59 p.m. Wednesday in the 5000 block of Hauck Drive.

According to initial reports, the victim and his ex-wife were involved in an argument, when she grabbed a knife and stabbed him. The victim was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. Initial reports show the suspect was arrested at the scene.

The second incident happened around 11:24 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Decatur Street.

Initial reports say a 41-year-old victim was attacked by two or three white males. One of the men reportedly struck the victim in the head with an unknown object.
