NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Today we saw a mix of sun and clouds with high temperatures nearing records in the low 80s. Patchy fog is possible again tonight even though temperatures will only fall to the mid to upper 50s on the north shore and low 60s on the south shore.
As we close out the week and start the weekend, mornings will be mild and afternoons will continue to hover at or just above the 80 degree mark. Sunday, we are keeping a close eye on a line of rain that could bring some strong to severe storms.
The main threats as of now look to be heavy rain and gusty winds late Sunday afternoon and evening. By Monday, dry skies and light jacket weather return!
