NOPD seeks man who stole pressure washer from downtown McDonalds

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The NOPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man who burglarized a downtown McDonalds on Dec. 3.

Around 3 a.m., the man was captured on surveillance video walking through the front doors of the closed restaurant in the 700 block of Canal Street and removing keys from the office. The man grabs a pressure washer and walks out. 

The suspect was described as a black male in his 40s, wearing a black and gray Nike jacket and black pants. 

Eighth District Detectives are investigating the incident and can be contacted at 658-6080.

Citizens with information that can help solve this crime are asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.  You could receive a cash reward of up to $2,500 for the information leading only to the arrest, except on homicides, where Crimestoppers will pay half of the reward upon the arrest and half on the indictment of the responsible person(s).  You do not have to give your name nor testify to receive the reward but you must contact Crimestoppers directly with your information.
