NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police are investigating two armed robberies inside the city, according to initial reports.
Police say the first armed robbery took place around 8:00 p.m. Friday morning, in the 8500 block of Huntington Park Drive. The initial reports show, a man armed with a gun walked up to the 22-year-old victim and demanded the keys to the victim's vehicle. Police say the victim complied, and the man took off.
The second armed robbery took place at 12:45 a.m. Friday morning, at the Magnolia Discount located in the 3400 block of S. Carrollton Avenue, according to initial reports. Police say a black man entered the business armed with a gun and demanded money from both registers. Initial reports show, the cashier complied, and the man took off.
Police did not give a description of the attackers.
