NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Rain has ended across the area this morning. Skies are sunny today and it will stay very mild.
There isn't much cold air with this cold front. A stronger system will begin to affect the area on Wednesday with a chance for rain and maybe a few thunderstorms near the coast.
More cold air is associated with this front and a real holiday feel arrives for the weekend as the rain ends on Thursday. Lots of sun this weekend with chilly lows in the 30s on the North Shore and mostly 40s south of the lake.
