Burglars steal cigarettes, coins from Franklinton Quick Stop

WASHINGTON PARISH, LA (WVUE) - The Warnerton Quick Stop on Highway 25 in Franklinton was burglarized during the early hours of Dec. 6.

The Washington Parish Sheriff's Office said surveillance video shows the burglars driving up to the business in a silver or light blue vehicle. They say the vehicle may have been a Nissan Altima. Deputies say the burglars parked the car on the edge of the highway and broke into the building. The burglars stole cartons of cigarettes and several rolls of change from the business.

The first suspect wore dark pants and a sweatshirt with the hood pulled tight around his head. He used a T-shirt to cover his face, concealing his identity. The second suspect was wearing a light-colored long sleeve shirt and pants with a full ski mask covering most of his face. The third suspect was wearing dark sweatpants and a dark sweatshirt with a hood. He also covered his face with a mask. Investigators said all of the suspects wore gloves.
