A flurry of Saints' roster moves continued as the club signed running back Kendall Hunter and promoted fullback Toben Opurum to the active roster. Cornerback Damian Swann was also placed on injured reserve.

Hunter last played in 2013 for the San Francisco 49ers when he rushed for 358 yards and three touchdowns.

Opurum has been on the practice squad all season with the exception of week one when he was on the Saints' active roster.

Swann suffered what appeared to be his third concussion of the season Sunday against Tampa Bay. When healthy, Swann was effective as the team's nickel cornerback.
