NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The cool weather will last into Sunday morning before a warming trend begins. Highs today were in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees.
The coldest night will be tonight and into Saturday morning. There could be a light freeze on the North Shore. South shore temperatures will range from the upper 30s to the 40s in the city.
On Sunday, clouds will once again increase with a warming trend as well. This is setting up what could be a fairly stormy Christmas week. Rain looks likely Monday and into at least Wednesday.
