Terrebonne Parish woman booked for murder

TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

Terrebonne Parish deputies arrested a woman for second degree murder.

Shantelle White, 27, was taken into custody Saturday night at a home on Henderson Street in Houma, police say. Deputies received a tip she was at the home and took her into custody.

White is charged for her role in the heroin overdose death of Christy Hearst earlier this month.

She was booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex with a $700,000 bond.
