NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Saints head coach Sean Payton said Drew Brees is day-to-day with a torn plantar fascia.
"He's had it looked at," Payton said. "He's had an MRI. I think he's stable. We'll gather more information to have a better idea as it pertains to if he'll play in this game or not."
If he can't go Matt Flynn is the team's number two quarterback. They also have rookie quarterback Garrett Grayson, who the Saints selected in the third round of the 2015 draft.
Brees injured his foot in the second quarter of Monday night's game. If he can't go it would be the second game he's missed this season.
