NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - There's a slight risk for severe storms this evening. Otherwise it will be breezy and warm with lows in the middle 60s and highs near 80 in spots. This would be close to a record high in some areas. More showers and storms are likely tomorrow.
The good news is that a drying trend should begin on Christmas Day. On the other hand, we will experience near record heat with highs around 80 into Sunday. The next chance for a cool down arrives early next week.
So no chance at a White Christmas, but you can bet on a warm one.
