NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The victims were sitting on a swing in the 800 block of Mandeville St. around 12:55 a.m. when two men approached the porch.

One of the men pointed a shiny, silver handgun at both victims and told them to lay on the ground, empty their pockets and give him their money, according to New Orleans police.

The second perpetrator told the man and woman to keep their heads down. He was not armed, the NOPD said.

The two men stole a wallet and iPhone 6. After the gunman patted down both victims to make sure he had all of their property, both men fled.
