It was another day of super muggy air and passing showers and storms on Christmas Eve. The severe weather risk, however, is quite low.
Record highs have been broken in Kenner with temperatures reaching 82 degrees today. For Christmas Day, the main change will be slightly lower rain chances. Otherwise plenty of clouds with peeks of sun and highs flirting with record levels around 80 degrees.
Same story for the weekend with lows in the 60s and highs around 80. A cold front will finally approach as early as Sunday night but more likely during the day on Monday.
Cooler for midweek, but not exceptionally cold.
