NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans Police are investigating four Monday night armed robberies.
The first incident occurred in the 1400 block of Pauger Street.
Shortly after 8 p.m. a 23-year-old man was approached by two armed suspects, described as black males, who demanded his property.
The subjects went into the victim's pockets and stole his cell phone, wallet and keys.
The second armed robbery occurred at 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of Decatur and Franklin Streets.
There, two victims, a 27-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, were approached by armed men who threw them to the ground and pointed a gun at them.
The suspects demanded their property and then fled with man's iPhone and wallet, and woman's purse.
The next armed robbery happened at 8:42 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Lopez Street
There, a 34-year-old man was on his porch when two suspects approached, forced him inside his home and robbed him of a wallet and cell phone.
The last armed robbery reported to police happened just before midnight in the 500 block of Esplanade Avenue.
The victim, a 46-year-old man, invited a man to his home. When he let the first suspect in, two other suspects, described as black males, also entered.
One of the suspects put a handgun to the victim's face. The victim was beaten and his home was ransacked.
The suspects fled with the victim's wallet and cell phone.
