NOPD investigates three Wednesday armed robberies

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans Police are investigating three Wednesday armed robberies, according to incident reports.

The first incident occurred just before 2 a.m. in the 1900 block of Pace Boulevard.

A 25-year-old man was walking in the area when man exited a grey vehicle and demanded  his property. The victim complied and the suspect fled.

The second incident occurred at 3:19 a.m. 3300 block of St Charles Avenue.

An armed suspect, described as a black male, entered a McDonald's restaurant through the back door.

The suspect forced the manager to open the safe. The manager complied and the suspect fled the scene.

The third incident happened at 9:15 p.m. in the 11900 block of North I-10 Service Road.

Two armed suspects, described as black men, entered the Family Dollar demanding money.

They later fled the store.
