NOPD investigates fatal hit-and-run on the west bank

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The NOPD is investigating a fatal hit-and-run overnight on the west bank.

Just after 3:30 a.m. Friday, a driver discovered the body of a man on U.S. 90B West just before the Gen de Gaulle Drive off ramp. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.

Investigators are trying to determine where the initial crash occurred.
